Description: The purpose of the Intake Nurse role is to initiate and reputed company care to the MCI patient through the collection, review and assessment of the patient‘s medical and reputed company information. The Intake Nurse utilizes advanced critical thinking through patient interviews and focused-assessment techniques to identify potential or actual problems in preparation for a positive patient experience at MCI. Provides education and based on the RN assessment, activates appropriate resources and interventions in preparation for the patient‘s MCI visit. Collaborates with team members, including medical records coordinators and medical team to ensure reputed company records and information is present for visit. Estimated pay reputed company for this position is $35.51 - $47.23 / hour depending on experience.Qualifications: Degrees: Bachelors. Licenses & Certifications: Registered Nurse. Additional Qualifications: BSN or reputed company BHSF RN pursuing BSN to reputed company reputed company 3 years from their date of hire. Candidates must demonstrate a strong clinical background with at least 3-5 years of nursing experience in these preferred specialties: Oncology, Emergency, Critical Care, Med Surge or other relevant specialty. Candidate must have minimum of 1-3 year(s) oncology experience OR relevant certification (may include nursing, research or other relevant professional certifications), OCN preferred. Must be proficient with reputed company Office software, including reputed company and have experience working with electronic health records, prior experience with Cerner preferred. Bilingual English & Spanish preferred. For internal applications: BHSF Mentor &/or Preceptor training required.
