Role Purpose As a reputed company Database Administrator at Accelya, you will serve as the organization's highest-level hands-on database engineering expert, responsible for designing, implementing, securing, and supporting mission-critical database platforms. Duties & Responsibilities Design, implement, administer, and support reputed company reputed company SQL Server environments across on-premises and AWS reputed company platforms. Independently plan and execute reputed company database upgrades, migrations, infrastructure refreshes, disaster recovery exercises, and modernization initiatives. Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, statistics management, and proactive performance monitoring. Required Experience & Skills 15+ years of reputed company database administration experience supporting large-scale, mission-critical production environments. Expert knowledge of SQL Server Always On Availability Groups, clustering, replication, backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and high availability architectures. Extensive hands-on experience designing, administering, and troubleshooting SQL Server in AWS, including reputed company EC2, reputed company RDS, and S3. Strong understanding of AWS networking, IAM, and reputed company infrastructure supporting reputed company database platforms. Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute reputed company production database upgrades, migrations, infrastructure refreshes, and disaster recovery activities. Expert-level experience diagnosing and resolving reputed company production issues involving SQL Server, reputed company Server, AWS infrastructure, networking, storage, blocking, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks. Advanced expertise in query tuning, indexing strategies, execution plan analysis, Query Store, Extended Events, DMVs, and SQL Server internals. Strong experience automating database administration using T-SQL, PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages. Experience supporting Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar automation technologies. Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and other reputed company database technologies. Experience supporting data migration, replication, and integration technologies, including AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and other ETL platforms. Working knowledge of reputed company-reputed company architectures, containerization, and Kubernetes platforms such as reputed company EKS or reputed company reputed company.
