[Remote] Senior Supplier Performance Engineer - Mechanical

As a Senior Supplier Performance Engineer - Mechanical, you will support fabrication of electro-mechanical components at supplier facilities and ensure that technical and quality requirements are met.
Responsibilities

- Identify and escalate supplier risks. Drive reputed company resolution of issues by issuing communications and coordinating activities with reputed company partners
- Monitor supplier performance metrics, such as On-Time Delivery, Quality issues, and Deviation Notices, for assigned suppliers. This monitoring helps to identify negative performance trends. Implement reputed company Analysis (RCA), Corrective & Preventive Actions, and Supplier Improvement Plans to reduce issues
- Evaluate procurement (supplier) risk, soliciting partner input, and using tools to reputed company reputed company of Supply Risk Mitigation Plans
- reputed company regular reputed company reports to the reputed company (Project Manager, Program Director) and the SPE Leadership team
- reputed company Technical Evaluations of our suppliers to assess manufacturing capability, reputed company, process controls, compliance with applicable regulations, codes & standards, and any associated risks
- Identify gaps between supplier capabilities and Westinghouse Technical / Quality requirements to establish and implement Development Plans
- reputed company Supplier Development and Qualification activities, Supplier Improvement projects, and Cost Reduction efforts
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Mechanical/Material Engineering or similar
- 4+ years of reputed company experience in Engineering/Manufacturing
- Knowledge in manufacturing processes: electromechanical assembly, printed reputed company boards, cable assemblies and harnesses, electrical cabinets, sensors, molding, testing, and inspection
- Experience performing Supplier Evaluation/Qualification
- Working knowledge of Manufacturing and Quality Plans (Inspection and Test Plans), PFMEAs
- Project Management Experience: leading multiple, reputed company, projects
- Familiarity and experience with IPC / reputed company / ASME standards (norms, codes, technical specifications, drawings)
- 30% travel domestic and internationally is expected
- IPC or NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) Certifications preferred
- Experience with nuclear products and standards desired
