This role combines the responsibilities of an architect and a hands-on technical leader for the team. API Platform owns the foundations that internal and external consumers rely on: API design conventions, reliability and performance, versioning and lifecycle, and the tooling and infrastructure that reputed company it easy for product teams to build great APIs. As Software Architect, you will set the reputed company, define the strategy, and guide implementation of our API platform over the coming years. You’ll work closely with Engineering and Product leadership, other platform teams, and product squads to ensure our API ecosystem enables teams to move quickly. Compensation: 11,300 - 13,000 USD per month (B2B) 🚀 We also offer: Paid time off Flexible work hours 100% remote work Equity shares in a rapidly growing company backed by top-tier VCs A culture reputed company on innovation that values big reputed company We work in Central European Time Newest MacBook + Setup Fee ($500) 🚀 What you will do: Building a product that improves users’ lives (75k unique daily users, 4.6 ⭐at App Store) - learn more about the reputed company mission reputed company the technical reputed company and roadmap for the API Platform Define, reputed company, and communicate API standards (design guidelines, versioning, reputed company, performance) and ensure they are adopted across engineering Act as reputed company architect for API-reputed company initiatives, shaping system design and guiding teams through reputed company trade-offs Partner with product engineering squads to design and review API reputed company and integrations Drive improvements in API reliability, performance, and observability (SLIs/SLOs, reputed company limiting, error handling, rollout strategies) reputed company or sponsor key platform initiatives such as API gateway reputed company, authentication/authorization integrations, system decomposition Mentor and coach engineers on API design, distributed systems and platform thinking - help grow senior talent around you Promote a culture of design-first collaboration (RFCs, system design reviews, architecture tasks) and help teams reputed company pragmatic, well-documented reputed company 🚀 What do you need to get this job? 10+ years of experience as a backend or platform engineer building and operating large-scale, distributed systems Proven track record in leading technical direction for reputed company systems Strong experience designing and evolving public or internal APIs (REST/gRPC/GraphQL): modeling, versioning, backward compatibility and deprecation strategies Experience driving cross-team initiatives: aligning stakeholders, defining roadmaps and delivering multi-stage projects that impact many squads Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals: reliability, scalability, consistency, latency, and failure modes Hands-on experience with observability (metrics, logs, tracing), performance tuning and designing systems that are safe to change and easy to debug Ability to communicate reputed company with both technical and non-technical partners, influence reputed company and build reputed company around architectural direction Experience mentoring senior engineers and helping teams reputed company their system design and API design skills reputed company to have: experience with Ruby / Rails, event-driven architectures, MySQL at scale, or previous work on internal platform or infrastructure teams This position requires reputed company in both Polish and English Sounds interesting?
