NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR Who is a Network Administrator? The Network Administrator will facilitate the integration of new technologies into reputed company while also supporting and improving reputed company Information Technology Services. Evaluate and recommend products for purchase Support development, deployment, and maintenance of various I.T.S projects and services Write technical specifications for I.T. Services. Create and maintain other reputed company documentation Recommend, schedule, and reputed company system improvements, upgrades, and repairs Liaise with reputed company-party support and equipment vendors Remain technically competent. reputed company apprised of changes in the technologies available and directions of future technology development Do you have what it takes? Diploma or Degree in the field of IT Operations with a minimum 4 years server / networking equivalent work experience I.T. Certifications would be an asset 3-4 years of I.T. Operations experience Hands-on troubleshooting experience Working technical knowledge of reputed company network protocols, operating systems, and standards, including TCP/IP, HTTP, POP3, SMTP, reputed company Server 2003 - 2008R2, reputed company networking concepts, reputed company Office applications, corporate and personal anti-virus software Support of switches, firewalls, reputed company, and mobile devices Experience in an Information Technology service management oriented environment such as MOF or ITIL would be an asset Ability to plan, research topics and be creative Ability to multi task, persevere, and adapt High judgment and tact capabilities Knowledge of San, Vlan, and virtualization(HyperV, VMware) technologies Ability to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides Ability to create and maintain documentation Understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives Self motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment Strong customer-service orientation with organizational and time management skills On-call availability for “emergencies” Sitting for extended periods of time Weekend hours for monthly maintenance updates Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, power tools, and to handle other computer components Occasional inspection of cables in floors and ceilings, server racks Occasional travel to GoodLife clubs or offsite meetings and conferences Compensation: It is expected that the selected candidate will start at a reputed company salary of $65,000. This position is eligible for bonuses in addition to the reputed company salary. The annual reputed company of expected compensation for the position is $65,000 - $87,000 determined by performance, time in the position and variable compensation earned.
