  • Logistics Coordination: Work closely with the inventory and procurement teams to track shipments, manage stock levels, and support high‑volume move‑in and move‑out activities.
  • Safety & Compliance: Promote a culture of safety by adhering to PPE requirements (safety shoes, goggles, gloves, face shields) and following environmental guidelines for temperature‑controlled environments (79°F–105°F).
  • Incident Response: Remain on‑call for after‑hours emergencies, troubleshoot critical issues, and coordinate with senior engineers to restore service promptly.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance documentation quality, and reduce mean‑time‑to‑repair (MTTR) across server‑farm operations.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors, and cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and knowledge sharing.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of hands‑on IT experience in data‑center or server‑farm environments.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA ITF+, A+, Server+ or BICSI Installer I (or equivalent).
  • Proficiency with macOS, iPadOS, and Windows operating systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in physically demanding settings, including standing, walking, lifting, and operating at heights.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations.
  • Strong documentation skills and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; capable of prioritizing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Team‑oriented mindset with a proven track record of collaborating effectively across departments and with external vendors.
  • Experience with data‑center safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and equipment handling best practices.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to evolving technologies and contribute innovative ideas to improve operational efficiency.

Core Competencies

  • Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of server hardware, networking gear, and storage solutions.
  • Problem‑Solving: Analytical mindset to diagnose issues, develop root‑cause analyses, and implement corrective actions.
  • Attention to Detail: Rigorous approach to data entry and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform tasks in temperature‑controlled environments ranging from 79°F to 105°F.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering reliable service to internal customers and maintaining high satisfaction levels.
