Position Overview

The Remote Data Science Manager role at arenaflex is a hybrid blend of strategic leadership, hands‑on analytics, and customer‑centric data stewardship. Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement data‑driven strategies that align with arenaflex’s business objectives, ensuring that data collection, storage, and analysis frameworks support both short‑term projects and long‑term growth.

  • Compliance & Security: Ensure all data handling processes comply with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and internal security standards.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands‑on experience in data‑driven decision making within a corporate environment, preferably in retail, health‑care, or a similarly regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience writing complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
  • Strong command of at least one open‑source data science language (Python or R) and familiarity with data‑science libraries such as pandas, scikit‑learn, TensorFlow, or Spark.
