About the Role: Senior HR Business Partner Lead

The Senior HR Business Partner Lead at arenaflex operates at the critical intersection of human resources and business strategy, serving as a trusted advisor to our Programming and Product teams within the Trade, Development, and Identity division. This high-impact position requires exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence without authority while driving meaningful organizational change.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with arenaflex's business objectives and support our rapid growth in the digital entertainment space. You'll serve as the primary HR liaison for key business leaders, providing guidance on all talent matters including organizational effectiveness, leadership development, change management, and employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Strategic People Leadership

  • Business Partnership: Develop and maintain deep business literacy and understanding of the organization's strategic priorities, operational challenges, and market positioning. Build and nurture productive working relationships with business leaders and stakeholders across Programming and Product teams.
  • Strategic Advisory: Proactively assess business and organizational performance through data analysis and stakeholder feedback. Provide recommendations and drive action through a consultative, "impact without authority" approach to solve complex business challenges.
  • Leadership Development: Mentor and coach senior managers and executives on HR policies, processes, and management issues including talent planning, learning and development, employee inclusion and engagement, and performance management to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Change Management: Lead organizational change initiatives by developing strategies to navigate transitions, communicate effectively, and maintain business continuity during periods of transformation.
  • Talent Management: Analyze HR data and trends to identify insights and present findings in a clear, compelling manner that drives decision-making. Provide guidance on headcount and resource management, collaborating with Talent Acquisition and Compensation partners to ensure effective recruitment and offer processes.
  • Organizational Design: Lead organization design projects to streamline and implement new structures, roles, or processes that create speed and efficiency while supporting rapidly moving business demands.
  • Diversity, Equity & Inclusion: Collaborate with DEI functional teams and employee resource groups to execute and measure the success of key inclusion initiatives that foster a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Performance Analytics: Evaluate talent capabilities and development needs based on business strategy. Work with Learning functional partners to create and deliver development experiences that close gaps between current and future capabilities.
  • Employee Experience: Utilize understanding of individual and organizational dynamics to facilitate onboarding, talent management, internal mobility, and overall team development initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other HR Business Partners, fostering positive work relationships and partnering on projects and initiatives across different groups within arenaflex.

Qualifications: What You Bring to arenaflex

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, preferably in Business, HR Management, Psychology, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner, preferably within a technology organization supporting software or product teams.
  • Executive Partnership: Demonstrated experience working with senior executives and managers in an "impact without authority" capacity.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to operate with a "zoom in" mindset, equally proficient at thinking strategically and functionally to address complex business challenges.
  • Autonomous Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage ambiguity—addressing issues that don't always have established processes or systems, potentially with competing priorities or perspectives.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business judgment with a sharp ability to process new information quickly and make data-informed decisions.
  • Influence & Partnership: Demonstrated ability to influence and partner within a complex organization to drive business results and build effective working relationships.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical abilities with the capacity to quickly interpret data, identify trends, and propose actionable solutions.
  • Self-Direction: Independent work style that balances the need for collaboration with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for deliverables.

  • Industry Experience: Prior experience in the media, entertainment, or technology industry with knowledge of streaming platforms or digital content delivery.
  • Change Management: Experience leading significant organizational change initiatives in fast-paced environments.
  • Metrics-Driven Approach: Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR metrics and analytics to measure business impact and drive decision-making.
  • Project Management: Experience managing complex HR projects from conception through implementation and evaluation.
