SAP Security Consultant - McKinsol Consulting Inc

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Security Resource to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the security of our SAP landscapes through proactive risk assessments, implementation of security best practices, and continuous improvement of security policies and procedures. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and implementation of SAP security architecture to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance across all SAP applications. Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability assessments to identify potential security threats and implement mitigation strategies. Develop, review, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ongoing protection of SAP environments. Oversee the configuration and maintenance of SAP security roles, authorizations, and profiles to ensure proper access control. Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to integrate security requirements into project planning and execution. Monitor and respond to security incidents in the SAP landscape, ensuring timely resolution and reporting. Conduct training and awareness sessions for team members and stakeholders on SAP security best practices. Stay current with industry trends and emerging threats to continuously improve SAP security posture

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in SAP security, including roles in governance, risk management, and compliance. Deep understanding of SAP security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, and security auditing. Proven experience implementing security solutions in SAP environments, including SAP GRC and Identity Management. Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks such as SOX, GDPR, or ISO 27001 as they relate to SAP. Ability to analyze complex security issues and develop comprehensive solutions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with SAP HANA security and cloud-based SAP solutions. Relevant certifications such as SAP Certified Technology Associate in Security or equivalent. Familiarity with penetration testing and security assessment tools.Technical Skills and Relevant Technologies Proficient in SAP security tools and technologies including SAP GRC, Identity Access Management, and role design. Experience with security monitoring tools and SIEM solutions. Solid understanding of network security concepts and their application in SAP
