Remote Pharmacy Technician - Data Entry Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Aetna, where you will play a vital role in supporting individuals on their journey to better health. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for directing complex prescriptions to the pharmacist for completion, communicating with physicians and insurance companies, mediating cases, and utilizing excellent data entry skills to drive success.

In this full-time, remote position, you will work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking between patient referrals while maintaining exceptional customer care. The ideal candidate will possess high levels of reliability, accuracy, professionalism, customer focus, team direction, critical thinking skills, strong written and oral communication, and solid computer skills.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Pharmacy Tech Certified in the state of GA
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Data entry experience
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty pharmacy experience
• Prescription claims experience to communicate with prescribers regarding case status and review prescription claim issues

Education

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
