Job Title: 3rd Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator

Join Our Team at Oneida Molded Plastics! We are seeking a skilled and motivated 3rd Shift Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our production team in Oneida, NY. Responsibilities

• Operate injection molding machinery, ranging from 30 Ton to 700 Ton, to standard cycle time
• Load inserts into, and unload plastic product from, injection molding machines
• Perform visual inspections of product and compare to standard
• Perform secondary operations, such as sonic welding, trimming, and light assembly
• Maintain an organized, lean, and functional work area, including general cleaning tasks and line clearances
• Adequately communicate safety, quality, production, and maintenance issues and concerns to appropriate individuals

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Industrial production experience in a manufacturing facility preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production-oriented environment
• Ability to multitask and willingness to cross-train
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Physical Requirements

• Able to perform visual inspections and comparisons of in-process product
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to frequently stand, twist, kneel, squat, bend, grip, and reach
