Associate Director, Analytics

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Associate Director, Analytics to lead a team of analysts and drive the development of data-driven solutions that support media effectiveness and business growth. You’ll work cross-functionally with clients, strategists, planners, and data partners to design measurement frameworks, lead advanced analytics projects, and elevate the role of data within our organization. This is both a hands-on and leadership role, ideal for someone who is as comfortable diving into the data as they are leading conversations with senior clients.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and develop a deep understanding of the client's strategic issues, initiatives and the competitive position. Use this information to measurement frameworks and reporting roadmaps

· Ensure that analytics efforts lead to clear, compelling and actionable insights; and insightful narratives are constructed through sophisticated analytics techniques

· Oversee the development of dashboards, campaign performance reports, and advanced measurement (e.g., brand health, incrementality, A/B testing, etc.).

· Generate and communicate clear, compelling and actionable insights; constructing insightful narratives through sophisticated analytic techniques

· Ensure timely follow through on all scheduled and ad hoc deliverables. Identify opportunities to continuously improve processes

· Present reports, POVs and other materials to clients on a regular basis over the phone and in person

· Manage a team of analysts, providing mentorship, technical guidance, and career development support.

· Collaborate with data engineering, BI, and marketing science partners to refine data infrastructure and analytics workflows.

· Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across deliverables.

· Partner with the Planning and Investment teams on annual budget setting, media plan development and ongoing budget / plan optimization.

· Stay up to date on industry trends, analytics best practices, emerging tools, and methodologies.

Qualifications

· Degree (or equivalent experience) and 5-7 years of data and analytics experience in advertising, management consulting, marketing or digital consulting

· Knowledge of agency-side media campaign planning and execution process is desirable, but not required

· Proven leadership ability and experience managing client relationships and leading analytics workstreams across multiple accounts.

· Strong knowledge of media metrics, campaign performance evaluation, attribution modeling, and A/B testing.

· Solution development: analytic skills, critical thinking and clarifying strategic or operational issues as relates to data and analytics. Problem-solving skills to drive issues resolution.

· Stellar communication and presentation skills: we need someone who is articulate, engaging and straightforward – and, above all, can effectively and convincingly translate unstructured business solutions into innovative customer marketing programs

· Ability to train & coach colleagues for growth: being organized & detail oriented, prioritizing work, business writing & presenting, conducting analysis, and time management

· Comfortable working in ambiguous situations

· Proficiency with analytics & visualization tools: Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc. SQL a plus
