Software Engineer - Salesforce Specialist ($27/Hour) - Remote Opportunity

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Southwest Airlines, working on a Salesforce application that provides a 360-degree view of customers and their interactions with the airline. As a key member of the Customer360 team, you will design, develop, test, and implement software systems that meet customer requirements, organizational policies, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply programming skills to solve complex problems and develop innovative solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products
• Communicate project status and proposals to clients and stakeholders
• Document system and application architecture for future updates and maintenance
• Evaluate customer needs and develop software to meet requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during design, testing, and maintenance phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Intermediate knowledge of software development processes, practices, and technologies
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java preferred)
• Experience with Salesforce development, including Lightning Web Components, Apex classes, and Service Cloud
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with DevOps tools, such as GIT and SalesforceDX
