Direct Response Copywriter
Job Title: Direct Response Copywriter Location: Remote Role Type: Full-Time (9AM - 6PM AEST) Salary Range: A$2,000 - A$3,000/month

About the Role
This is a full-time remote role for a Direct Response Copywriter at a rapidly scaling Australian marketing agency specialising in lead generation for buyer's agents. The copywriter will be responsible to create high-converting Meta Ads copy, VSL scripts, landing page content, and email sequences that generate qualified leads for buyer's agent clients across Australia.
You will work directly with the agency founders and creative teams, creating copy that generates qualified leads for buyer's agents across Australia. Your copy will convert cold prospects into booked strategy calls and paying clients through direct response messaging designed to drive action.
Requirements
- 3+ years writing direct response copy for Meta Ads and lead generation campaigns
- Proven ability to write conversational, problem-agitate-solution style copy that converts cold traffic
- Experience across multiple formats: Facebook/Instagram ads, VSL scripts, landing pages, email sequences
- Strong understanding of buyer psychology and ability to build trust with skeptical prospects
- Ability to deliver 20-30 pieces of copy per month with quick turnaround times
- Fast internet, reliable equipment, and professional communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Previous work writing copy for Australian service-based businesses or in the property space
- Experience with marketing agencies focused on lead generation for professional services
- Understanding of VSL scripting and long-form sales copy that maintains engagement
