Accountant

Position Summary

The Staff Accountant will support the accounting function of all entities. This is a remote position, reporting out of the Danbury, CT office.

Responsibilities

• Posting of journal entries
• Bank reconciliations
• Reconciliation of intercompany accounts
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciliation of per diem program
• Accounts payable support
• Manage credit card program
• Monthly preparation of financial reports as needed

Other work duties as assigned.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong MS-Excel skills
• Resourceful with strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Understanding of accounting systems; experience with SAGE a plus
• Detail oriented

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's in accounting required.
• 2-3 years accounting experience.
