Job Overview We are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to become an integral part of our expanding remote team based in Asia. This position is crucial for managing tax preparation, assisting with audits, and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Key Responsibilities  Serve as a key contributor in preparing documentation for timely and precise tax filings.  Collaborate in conducting both internal and external audits to guarantee compliance with established financial protocols.  Maintain meticulous financial records pertinent to tax and audit operations.  Liaise effectively with the accounting team and stakeholders to facilitate smooth communication. Required Skills  Robust experience in bookkeeping, particularly concerning tax and audit functions, ideally within real estate lending.  In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.  Proficient in accounting software, specifically QuickBooks Online (QBO), and the Microsoft Office Suite.  Strong attention to detail and adept problem-solving abilities, with a capacity for independent work and meeting deadlines. Qualifications  Proven background in bookkeeping with a focus on tax and audit processes.  Familiarity with tax regulations and accounting principles is essential.  A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
