This position contributes to Starbucks success by ensuring compliance with government jurisdictional license requirements for Starbucks North American stores and facilities, initiating timely and accurate jurisdictional mandated financial transactions, and through the effective distribution of and communication about required license and permit documentation across the US and Canada. Manages license fee and tax expenses up to $2 million annually. As a license analyst, you will manage a portfolio of business and tax license and permit renewals by accurately completing and submitting applications and payments to government jurisdictional authorities. You will ensure compliance with requirements so that stores and facilities operate without closure or sanctions. This role involves initiating accurate license fee or tax payments in accordance with jurisdictional terms, choosing the most cost-efficient methods for payments, and submitting necessary documentation to the manager for required payment approvals. You will document licenses and permits received, distribute them to stores and other locations on the required timeline, and manage critical license information in the license database. Additionally, you will adhere to document management standards, records retention requirements, and license communication guidelines.

Requirements
- Experience working in a customer service-based team environment required. ,
- Experience tracking information within database systems required (e.g., license systems, point-of-sale systems, inventory systems, accounting systems, etc.). ,
- Retail store manager or lead experience preferred.
