Eagle Home Health is seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for entering and updating patient data into our electronic database in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent typing skills and be familiar with medical terminology, as well as possess strong organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities:

  • Enter patient demographic and medical information into our electronic database
  • Update and maintain patient records as needed
  • Review data for accuracy and make necessary corrections
  • Communicate with healthcare providers to obtain missing or incorrect information
  • Ensure confidentiality and privacy of all patient data
  • Keep track of all incoming and outgoing data and maintain a log of completed work
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure data accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in data entry, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting
  • Proficient typing and data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus
  • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) is a plus

Working Conditions: This position can be performed in our office or remotely, depending on the preference of the candidate. If working remotely, the candidate must have a suitable home office setup with reliable internet access. The working hours are Monday-Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Benefits:
