Now Hiring: Virtual Special Education Coordinator for New Hampshire Schools Position Overview: VocoVision is seeking a Virtual Special Education Coordinator to manage the development and implementation of special education programs for students in a virtual setting. This role involves collaborating with teachers, families, and staff to create IEPs, ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, and provide professional development. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and update IEPs for virtual students.
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, and other laws.
- Facilitate communication between school staff, parents, and service providers.
- Track progress on IEP goals and prepare reports.
- Provide training and support to virtual educators.
- Advocate for students with disabilities to ensure access to necessary support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Special Education (Masters preferred).
- New Hampshire Special Education certification.
- 3+ years of special education experience in New Hampshire (virtual experience a plus).
- Familiar with IDEA, 504 Plans, and virtual education tools.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with IEP software.
- Leadership or coordination experience.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices.
