Apple Music Operations Program Manager

About the position Apple Music Operations is at the center of the Apple Music ecosystem, where our operations expertise drives the development of technical tools, content quality, processes, and resources. In this role, you will help shape the future of lyrics on Apple Music, driving projects that continuously raise the bar for lyrics in the industry. This position combines a passion for music with a strong analytical, data-driven, and organized mindset to track multiple projects simultaneously. You will serve as the liaison between the Lyrics Operations team and our partners, both inside and outside of Apple, working internationally on strategies to enhance the customer experience with Apple Music Lyrics. Your responsibilities will include supporting editorial priorities and cross-functional campaigns on Apple Music, leading editorial efforts globally in partnership with international local teams, and managing the strategy for lyrics coverage in the US and globally. You will track projects from inception to completion across multiple teams, streamline processes and reporting, and manage relationships with external lyrics partners. This role may require you to be available after hours or on weekends, particularly for off-schedule releases.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Substantial experience with project/program management in related industry

,

• Substantial experience working with external partners

,

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to tailor communications to all levels of the organization and outside Apple

,

• Outstanding collaboration skills, excelling at both high-level thinking and execution

,

• Proven ability to set up, organize, complete and report on complex projects across multiple teams

Nice-to-haves

• Native-level proficiency in another language besides English and inclusive knowledge of other cultural norms

• Deep familiarity with the Apple ecosystem of services and hardware

,

• Strong presentation skills in front of large audiences and leadership

• Bachelor's degree
