Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate youth programs for children and teenagers onboard the cruise ship. Supervise and lead a team of youth program staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Ensure that all youth program activities and facilities comply with safety and security regulations. Collaborate with other departments, such as entertainment and guest services, to create a seamless and unforgettable experience for young guests. Continuously evaluate and improve the youth program offerings to ensure they meet the needs and interests of guests. Maintain accurate records of attendance and program participation, and provide reports as needed. Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all young guests, promoting diversity and cultural awareness. Serve as a role model for children and teenagers, promoting good behavior and social skills. Collaborate with parents and guardians, addressing any concerns or issues regarding their child's participation in the youth program. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in youth programming, and incorporate new ideas and techniques into the program. Handle any emergencies or disciplinary issues that may arise during youth program activities. Ensure all youth program equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stocked. Train and onboard new youth program staff, providing them with the necessary tools and information to succeed in their roles. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, promoting the company's values and mission to guests and colleagues.
