About the position The Systems Engineer - Senior II position at Solutions LLC involves supporting a large mission-critical development and sustainment program for a U.S. Government customer. The role focuses on designing, building, delivering, and operating a network operations environment, with an emphasis on advanced cybersecurity capabilities to address emerging threats. Responsibilities ? Developing security systems for manual or automated systems environments. , ? Ensuring the logging of mission and organizational data against unauthorized disclosure, accidental or intentional loss of data, or unauthorized modification. , ? Applying analytical and logical thinking to the design, architecture, development, evaluation, testing, and integration of computer systems, appliances, and networks. , ? Developing architecture and implementation of Cyber Security tools in a hybrid environment. , ? Managing technology roadmaps with each product and proposing briefs and reports to elaborate on recommended actions based on best practices. , ? Supporting system accreditation efforts (ATP, ATO) by generating Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts. Requirements ? Must have hands-on experience with Windows and Linux in a production environment. , ? Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization. , ? Working knowledge of secure-cloud configuration and cloud-security technologies. , ? Hands-on experience with security and host-based protections, including administering and engineering a host-based protection solution. , ? Ability to work in a fast-paced Scaled AGILE Framework (SAFe) environment with an understanding of JIRA, JIRA Align, and Confluence. , ? Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, bash/ksh/sh, and Python. , ? Familiarity with network protection devices like Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and log analysis. Nice-to-haves ? Familiarity with CyberArk, ForeScout, CounterAct, CrowdStrike, Tenable Nessus, Splunk, PKI, chain of trust, and certificates. , ? Understanding and application of DoDAF and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
