A typical day for a Hotel Houseperson involves conducting daily cleaning projects in public areas, which may include lobbies, hallways, and restrooms. The Houseperson will assist room attendants by transferring dirty linens from guest hallways to the laundry area, ensuring that linen closets are stocked and organized, and removing trash from the hotel to designated dumpster locations. Additionally, the Houseperson may be tasked with minor maintenance duties such as unclogging toilets or sinks and changing light bulbs, as well as providing assistance to housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed. This position is essential for maintaining the hotel's standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Responsibilities ? Conduct daily cleaning projects in public areas of the hotel. , ? Assist Room Attendants with transferring dirty linens from guest hallways to laundry. , ? Stack and organize linen closets. , ? Remove trash from the hotel to the appropriate dumpster location. , ? Perform minor maintenance tasks such as unclogging toilets/sinks and changing light bulbs. , ? Assist housekeeping and maintenance staff as needed. Requirements ? Ability to work independently and as part of a team. , ? Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. , ? Good communication skills to interact with guests and staff. , ?
