Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Bookkeeper/HR Administrator. APP Properties () is a domestic company operating four Fixed Based Operations at general aviation airports around the country and owning only hangars at a fifth general aviation airport. Fixed Based Operators provide corporate and business terminal and flight services, fuel, hangars, and other ancillary aviation-related services for non-commercial or general aviation passengers. In this role, your responsibilities will include managing financial tasks, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and account reconciliations. Additionally, you will handle various human resources duties, including benefits administration, onboarding and terminations, and general HR tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, problem solving, and independent work ethic and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Responsibilities: ? Bookkeeping: ? Reconcile cash daily and maintain cash worksheets for separate entities. ? Process and manage accounts payable and receivable using our accounting software. ? Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accuracy. ? Prepare and process payroll, including calculating employee hours, deductions, and taxes using our payroll processing software. ? Maintain accurate records of employee timesheets and ensure timely payment. ? Generate financial reports for the Controller to review. ? Prepare for and assist with audits as needed. ? Perform other bookkeeping duties as assigned. ? Human Resources: ? Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations. ? Assist employees and managers with HR-related inquiries and provide guidance on policies and procedures. ? Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with legal requirements. ? Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures. ? Assist with new employee onboarding. ? Assist in employee training and development initiatives. ? Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. ? Handle confidential HR matters with discretion. ? Perform other HR administrative tasks as required. Qualifications: ? Strong attention to detail and accuracy. ? Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities. ? Proven experience as a Bookkeeper and HR Administrator or similar role. ? Solid understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices. ? Knowledge of payroll processing. ? Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office including Excel. ? Excellent organizational and time management skills. ? Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information. ? Strong written and verbal communication skills. ? An independent, self-motivated individual excited to contribute to our team. Education and Experience: ? Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. ? Previous experience in bookkeeping and human resources roles. Benefits and Compensation: ?
