Teachers are needed for the following instruments: Piano Teachers Guitar Teachers Ukulele Teachers Violin Teachers Voice Teachers -> To be considered as a voice teacher, you must also be able to teach one of the previous three instruments. You will be matched with students who live near you. You decide which cities/areas in which you want to teach, and you create your own hours. (The majority of our students are available between 3 and 8:30 pm Monday - Fridays, and some availability on weekends). The occasional student has other availability during the week and/or weekend.) We are hiring teachers who will offer both in-home availability as well as online. We are not considering candidates who are only teaching online as most of our students want in-person lessons. Positions available for experienced teachers as well as first-time teachers. Our exclusive training program will prepare a first-time teacher who has a solid music background. Students typically come one or two at a time, so you will need patience to watch your roster grow. Teachers who stick with us for at least 6 months usually gain a nice part-time roster of students. We are not offering immediate students. If you are hired you will create a profile and we will recommend you as a teacher for new enrollments. When you need support, you can come to someone who has been there and can help you through challenges. - Paid Holidays, including Christmas, Spring Break, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, etc. - Competitive pay with Direct Deposit. - Flat monthly rate per student: you get paid the same amount each month, even on months with pre-scheduled vacations like Spring Break. - Travel to one area per afternoon/evening - Minimize driving time. - We handle payments and the business aspect of lessons so you get to concentrate on what you love the most: teaching! - OPEN TEACHING SCHEDULES! You can make your own schedule, provided it coincides with student availability. PAY RATE: . . . . . . . . . . .$50 per teaching hour. For each student that you teach a 30 minute weekly lesson, you will be reimbursed $80/month for teaching + $20/month for travel. This is a total of $100/month per student. INTERVIEWS: Interviews will be held ASAP and scheduled with those individuals who meet pre-screening qualifications. APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS: Must have a strong background in the instrument you are applying for. Teaching Experience is preferred, though we can train the right person to teach. Must have a H.S. Diploma. Must have a degree in music, or the equivalent education/background. Apprentice teachers must have college-level ability on their instrument. Must have experience with children and enjoy working with children. Must have own transportation. Minimum age 18 per OSHA and client insurance requirements. Must pass a criminal background check and/or FBI Background Check. All teaching positions are independent contractor positions.
