Service Center Technician Apprentice Program (TAP) - Body Apprentice San Angelo - W Beauregard Career Description: This role is part of our Technician Apprentice Program (TAP), designed to provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful body technician. As a TAP Body Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced technicians to learn industry-approved repair techniques and develop hands-on skills. Responsibilities: • Repair damaged vehicles to pre-accident condition using approved techniques. • Assist in reading estimates, identifying damage, and repairing vehicles. • Participate in training sessions to develop technical knowledge and skills. • Collaborate with mentors to ensure quality and accuracy in workmanship. Requirements: • Be at least 18 years old. • Hold a valid driver's license and be eligible for Caliber's insurance policy. • Pass all pre-employment screenings, including background and MVR checks. • Prior collision experience and/or Collision Vo-Tech certification are nice to have but not required. Essential Abilities and Skills: • Demonstrate ability to perform consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting over 50 pounds. • Understand instructions in both written and verbal formats. • Prioritize tasks and adapt to fast-paced environments efficiently. • Complete required training and certifications related to TAP.
