About the Position The Brownwood Independent School District is seeking an experienced Girls Athletics Coach to lead our girls' sports teams. As a key member of our athletic department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective coaching strategies to help our student-athletes achieve success both on and off the field. Duties and Responsibilities Develop and implement game plans that align with UIL rules and regulations. Conduct regular team practices and training sessions. Provide guidance and support to student-athletes in achieving their academic and athletic goals. Work collaboratively with the athletic director to schedule competitions and plan season activities. Maintain accurate records and reports related to team performance and athlete eligibility. Requirements Valid Texas teaching certificate in Core Subject Area Current first aid, CPR, and AED certification Preferred: Valid Texas commercial driver's license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills What We Offer A competitive salary package A comprehensive benefits program Opportunities for professional growth and development
