About the position The Civil Engineer Intern - Transportation position at Halff involves assisting the Transportation team in the Corpus Christi, TX office with roadway and highway design projects. This role is designed for students pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, providing hands-on experience in transportation design while fostering skills in teamwork and communication. Responsibilities • Assist with transportation design for roadway and highway projects. , • Collaborate with team members on various engineering tasks. , • Utilize Microstation, CAD, and Geopak software for design work. , • Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions. Requirements • Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil Engineering or an ABET accredited equivalent degree. , • Interest in learning about transportation project designs. , • Experience with Microstation, CAD, and Geopak; OpenRoads experience is a plus. , • Strong relationship and team-building skills. , • Self-motivated with strong organizational skills. , • Good communication skills.
