Utilization Review Nurse

This position will give the right candidate a chance to make a meaningful contribution to our organization as they assist us in providing quality healthcare services to our members.The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of medical terminology, a strong background in healthcare policy, an understanding of the utilization review and discharge planning processes, and the ability to work well with a diverse range of stakeholders. Additionally, we are looking for a professional who is able to work independently and as part of a team, and who is capable of multitasking and managing a wide variety of tasks.A successful Utilization Review Nurse at BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina will have a current Registered Nurse license in South Carolina and a minimum of two years’ experience in utilization review and/or discharge planning.
