Senior UX Designer

We're seeking to expand our team in Portugal, so if you're located there, we eagerly anticipate receiving your application. This position will start in February/March 2025.

• Discover: You find out where the shoe really pinches users and stakeholders.
• Define: You discover opportunities that connect user needs with business interests.
• Design: You develop user-centered strategies and concepts for applications, services and digital communication.
• Deliver: as part of an interdisciplinary team, you ensure the quality of the solution all the way to the end.
• You support the moderation of workshops with users, customers, colleagues and external experts.

What we expect:

• A degree in media conception, information design, media informatics or equivalent qualification.
• At least 5 years of experience in the development of user-centered digital concepts and solutions, preferably in an Agency Environment or similar.
• Experience with user-centered design methods in research and solution development, as well as experience in customer centric product development (someone who understands Double Diamond process, from framing over research to defining key metrics, creating solutions that effectively drive the metrics, delivering what really works best).
• Strong communication and presentation skills, as well as be able to consult the team and the client.
• In addition to an analytical mindset, someone who enjoys dealing with people and their needs.
• Someone who can quickly analyze complex issues and make clear recommendations for the success of the project.
• Someone who can conceptually steer single parts of the solution as well as the overall project, always curious on how to improve product and work experience for the team.
• Someone who can mentor junior people.
• Fluent in English.
• A flair for and curiosity about trends and innovations.
• Willingness to travel for internal events, workshops, and/or client meetings.
• Experience in working with mature design systems is a plus.
• Experience in working for industrial companies and an affinity for industrial topics is a plus.
• Experience in complex projects, experience in E-Commerce projects is a plus.
