We are in search of skilled Legal/Judicial contract professionals with substantial experience in transcribing depositions and hearings. This is a fully remote role designed for independent contractors. Key Responsibilities ? Accurately transcribe audio recordings from depositions, hearings, and other judicial proceedings. ? Follow specified style guides to produce verbatim transcripts with precision. ? Maintain exceptional attention to detail while interpreting complex legal terminology. Required Skills ? Proven experience with legal transcription, court reporting, or scoping is essential. ? Superior listening and literacy skills, encompassing comprehension, spelling, and grammar. ? Strong typing proficiency with emphasis on both speed and accuracy. ? Capability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment. ? Ability to adhere strictly to deadlines and customized client style guides. ? Familiarity with handling sensitive audio/text content (may be offensive). ? Successful completion of a background check is mandatory. Qualifications ? Significant prior experience transcribing depositions and hearings. ? Knowledge of legal terminology is advantageous. ? Court reporting students may also be eligible for consideration. ? Currently, this position is not open to residents of Massachusetts or California.
