Job description: Financial Aid/Eligibility Specialist Responsible to: Director Adult Career Services This position description assist in providing outreach/recruitment services for potential FEC clientele. Primary Objective: Determine eligibility for financial assistance for various grant programs.

• Job Duties.

• Conduct overviews on FEC services and programs • Provide search assistance and conduct client interviews • Provide outreach/recruitment service for potential FEC clientele. • Determine eligibility for financial assistance for various grant programs administered by FEC. • Assist with the placement and follow-up activities of all applicants • Provide follow up of FEC clientele. • Customer Service follow-up • Timely submission of activities/time on task • Other duties assigned. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED with basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills that are normally acquired through high school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.
