Job Description: Our Client is seeking a Remote NMLS Licensed Loan Officer Assistant to act as an Account Manager handling VA Loans.. In this role, you will be instrumental in originating and processing loans, managing leads provided by the company, and supporting the borrowers throughout the loan application process. Strong communication skills and a solid processing background are crucial, and you will receive training to refine your sales abilities. Key Responsibilities: • Loan Origination: Assist in the loan origination process by evaluating applications, gathering necessary documentation, and providing borrowers with loan options. • Loan Processing: Oversee the loan processing workflow, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with state and federal regulations. • Borrowers Interaction: Conduct consultations with borrowers via Zoom and phone, addressing inquiries and guiding them through the loan process. • Lead Management: Utilize and manage leads provided by the company to generate business opportunities and enhance borrowers relationships. • Documentation and Compliance: Ensure all loan documentation is properly managed and compliant with industry standards and regulations. • Sales Support: While training will be provided, demonstrate a willingness to develop sales skills and contribute to the growth of the loan portfolio. • Collaboration: Work closely with loan officers and other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient loan process. Qualifications: • Active NMLS License: Must possess a current and valid NMLS license in one of the following states: CA, FL, TX, VA, GA, TN, DC, WA, CO, ID, WY, AL • Strong Processing Background: Proven experience in loan processing, with a thorough understanding of mortgage products, underwriting processes, and regulatory requirements. • Sales Potential: Willingness to learn and develop sales techniques; training will be provided. • Excellent Communication: Superior phone and written communication skills for effective borrowers interaction and team collaboration. • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using digital communication tools such as Zoom and various loan processing software. Must have high speed internet • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently in a remote work setting. • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in managing loan documentation and processing.
