Supervisor Case Management (RN) - Remote

About the position The Supervisor Case Management (RN) position at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is a full-time remote role focused on overseeing case management operations. The supervisor will be responsible for monitoring staff performance, ensuring quality improvement, and coordinating clinical services. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to implement clinical management programs effectively. Responsibilities • Monitor productivity and performance based on departmental goals. , • Identify areas for quality improvement and ensure updated processes are implemented. , • Supervise, hire, motivate, and evaluate staff to assure effectiveness of programs. , • Coordinate clinical interface with internal/external clients to ensure delivery of quality services. , • Facilitate the implementation of programs, policies, and procedures related to clinical management programs. , • Perform quality audits and review audit findings, providing feedback and training to staff as needed regarding clinical or technical information. Requirements • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or a participating state in the Nurse Licensure Compact Law. , • 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry or operations environment. , • 3 years of clinical experience required. , • 2 years of experience in a leadership/management role required. , • 1 year of Utilization Management or Case Management experience required. , • Certified Case Manager (CCM) certification at hire or obtained within 2 years. Nice-to-haves • Certification in Developmental Disabilities Nursing (CDDN) required at hire or must be attained within 3 years. , • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). , • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or function in a team environment.
