About the position The DBT Data Modeler position at Cognizant involves leading the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Data Vault 2.0, DBT, and Snowflake. Responsibilities • Lead the design and implementation of data architecture solutions using Data Vault 2.0, DBT, and Snowflake. , • Oversee the development and maintenance of data models to support business requirements. , • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. , • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements. , • Ensure data integrity and security across all data platforms. , • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting. , • Implement best practices for data management and governance. , • Monitor and troubleshoot data issues to ensure system reliability. , • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data architecture and processes. , • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake SQL databases. , • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality deliverables. , • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data architecture. , • Contribute to the continuous improvement of data processes and workflows. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 12 years of experience in data architecture and design. , • Demonstrate extensive expertise in Snowflake SQL. , • Have a strong background in the Provider domain. , • Show proficiency in developing and optimizing complex SQL queries. , • Display strong communication and collaboration abilities. , • Have experience with data management and governance best practices. , • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data architecture. , • Show a commitment to maintaining data integrity and security. , • Be adept at creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
