Healthcare Project Manager

Insight Global Health is seeking to find a Healthcare EHR focused IT Project Manager that will be supporting the team on a long term contract, remote in the Greater Atlanta area. Ideal candidates will be local to the Atlanta Metro area and must be willing to work EST 8 AM - 5 PM, M-F. Requirements • Healthcare PM Experience - Must have experience working in an EHR such as Cerner, Epic, ECW, etc. • Experience working with IS/IT projects (break/fix, enhancements, and full lifecycle projects) • Experience utilizing a project tracking tool/interface such as ServiceNow • Familiar with managing multiple projects at a time (5+) • Skilled in creating presentations for stakeholder meetings A large hospital in Atlanta is searching to fill a long term project manager, at minimum 12 months, supporting all EHR work being completed for the health system. This EHR project manager will be working to support Cerner, though experience overseeing projects in any electronic medical record system will suffice. This Project Manager will be managing multiple projects through a multitude of phases, while interacting with individual stakeholders connected with the solutions that are being developed and tested (both clinical and administrative). This PM must come from a background in healthcare (hospital provider specifically, not insurance payer) and must be well versed in managing expectations around overall project delivery focused in inpatient acute care. This PM will be expected to take projects from cradle to grave. Candidates without inpatient acute care/healthcare PM experience focused on EHR development will not be considered for this role.
