About the position The Seasonal Sales Associate at Disney Store is responsible for providing an exceptional retail experience to guests during the busy holiday season. This part-time role focuses on engaging with customers, ensuring they have a magical shopping experience, and supporting the store's mission of creating memorable moments for guests of all ages. The position is temporary, running from late September to mid-January, and does not guarantee a permanent position. Responsibilities • Ensure guests have 'The Best Retail Experience in the World' by providing an entertaining and magical experience. , • Connect with guests by asking open-ended questions to assess their needs and make appropriate suggestions. , • Contribute to a high-energy, fast-paced environment that offers fun and dynamic experiences for guests. , • Assist guests in finding solutions that best meet their needs using all available resources, including Disneystore.com. , • Treat all guests and cast members with respect and contribute to a positive work environment. , • Maintain Disney brand standards in guest engagement, visual presentation, and housekeeping. , • Perform cash wrap and mobile POS duties efficiently while maintaining high guest service levels. , • Participate in processing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, and other operational tasks as needed. , • Uphold all company policies as outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures, Employee Policy Manual, and Code of Business Conduct. , • Promote and maintain a safe working and shopping environment. Requirements • Retail/service experience preferred with a strong guest-focused engagement ability. , • Demonstrated success working as a member of a team. , • Ability to receive feedback and take appropriate action. , • Must maintain a professional appearance and meet Disney Store grooming guidelines. , • Available to work a flexible schedule including overnights, evenings, holidays, weekends, and call-in shifts if permitted. , • Must be available for a minimum of two shifts Monday through Friday and have weekend availability that meets the store's needs. , • Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 45 lbs. and climb a ladder. , • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to submit verification of legal right to work in the United States.
