We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Telehealth team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in patient care, with a focus on providing comprehensive medical services to diverse patient populations. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of care and ensuring compliance with relevant healthcare regulations, including HIPAA. Duties • Conduct thorough physical examinations and assessments of patients. • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs. • Provide treatment for various conditions, including geriatrics and hospital medicine. • Perform procedures such as spinal taps when necessary. • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. • Maintain accurate medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations. • Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. • Stay informed about current medical practices, workers compensation law, and advancements in sonography. Qualifications • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. • Strong knowledge of physiology and clinical practices. • Experience in a medical office setting is preferred. • Familiarity with workers compensation law is a plus. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team. • Commitment to providing compassionate care to patients across all age groups.
