Payment Processing Representative (Remote)

About the position The Payment Processing Representative at Exeter Finance LLC is responsible for the daily decision-making and processing of customer and third-party checks. This role ensures that all payments are managed accurately and timely, while collaborating with various departments to uphold company policies and procedures. The position is integral to the company's mission of providing excellent service and support to customers and dealer partners. Responsibilities • Execute payment processing tasks according to policy and procedures. , • Manage daily workload and assignments within service level objectives. , • Assist peers with assignment completion as needed. , • Maintain high accuracy and completeness in tasks performed. , • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a timely and professional manner. , • Identify process improvements and communicate solutions with leadership. , • Assist leadership in special projects. , • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred. , • 2-3 years of work-related experience, preferably in consumer auto finance industry. , • Experience with account maintenance functions strongly preferred. , • 2 years of administrative accounting experience preferred. , • Familiarity with indirect loan documentation preferred. , • Working knowledge of automobile finance, collections, and loan services preferred. , • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; database skills preferred. , • Proficiency in SHAW Collections and SHAW Retail preferred. , • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required. , • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. , • Self-motivated with the ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal supervision. , • High attention to detail. Nice-to-haves • Experience in consumer auto finance industry preferred. , • Familiarity with indirect loan documentation, i.e. contracts, ancillary products, certificates, etc. preferred. , • Database skills preferred.
