HEDIS Nurse - Seasonal

About the position The HEDIS Nurse position is a temporary role focused on medical record review and compliance with HEDIS hybrid measures. The nurse will assist in the collection and review of medical records, provider outreach, and other project-related activities, ensuring high accuracy in abstraction and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Responsibilities • Review medical records to determine compliant records. , • Meet daily abstraction goals and maintain a high abstraction accuracy percentage. , • Assist in the preparation and submission of medical records to the HEDIS vendor. , • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify and obtain necessary information. , • Coordinate and perform on-site medical record abstraction as needed. , • Identify difficult providers as well as those who readily send medical records. , • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Requirements • Active nursing license (RN or LPN). , • Minimum of 2 years experience with HEDIS Medical Record Review. , • In-depth knowledge of HEDIS hybrid measures. , • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. , • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. , • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. , • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) and case management systems.
