The Non-QM Mortgage Underwriter underwrites wholesale loans. As a key role in the organizational process, the Underwriter: Reviews all loan files for adherence to AOMS guidelines. Responsible for issuance of all loan approvals and declinations in compliance with RESPA and ECOA measures. Conditions loans in accordance with program and federal requirements; works with the broker to ensure all conditions are clear. Works directly with the broker or correspondent. Sole individual responsible for issuance of a file to close. Responsible for pipeline management to adhere to turn times and compliance requirements Coordinates resolution of any auditing deficiencies with Quality Assurance and Management.
