Position: • Package and or Prepare goods on pallets in order to prevent damage during transport. • Conducts a physical check/inventory of the pallets before shipping. • Maintain effective communication with Supervisor and Manager at all times. • Ensure compliance with local, state, federal, and corporate food safety regulatory standards. • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of company’s Shipping Policies. • Ensure orders are completed in accordance with company policies. • Provide support to employees and monitor performance to ensure work processes are accomplished in a timely and effective manner. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements: • Basic math skills required (counting, multiplication, conversions, fractions) • Demonstrated skills with industrial powered equipment required. Certification for equipment as required based on facility needs (for example, forklift, scissor lift, electric pallet jack, reach truck, etc. • Ability to work in cold environment. • Applicable working experience related to warehousing and inventory in a food manufacturing setting. • An understanding of perishable food shipping. • An understanding of ERP software preferred (SAP experience is a plus). • Excellent communication skills. • Excellent organization skills and the ability to multi-task. • Experience within a distribution and food manufacturing setting preferred. SHIFT: 1st shift Monday through Friday Occasion Weekend Overtime. Starts at 5:00am PAY: Starting at $20.00 per hour. Get paid weekly every Friday!!!
