Amazon is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time Warehouse Worker for our Central City location. Job Description:
As a Warehouse Worker, you are an integral part of Amazons fulfillment process. You will be required to prepare and complete orders for delivery and pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship). You will also receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store). We are looking for someone who is diligent, organized, and can handle the physical demands of the job.
Responsibilities:
– Receive and check incoming pick tickets
– Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, etc. ensuring accuracy
– Build pallets with orders and position them to loading docks
– Wrap orders before loading on trucks
– Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
– Keep records of completed orders
– Maintain equipment and report on malfunctions
Requirements:
– Proven experience as a warehouse worker is preferred
– Proficiency in inventory software, databases, and systems
– Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
– Good organizational and time management skills
– Ability to lift heavy objects
– High school degree or equivalent
