Job Description:

As a Non-CDL Box Truck Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of packages and goods. The role requires handling, loading, and unloading packages, maintaining accurate records, conducting vehicle inspections, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

– Operate box trucks and other vehicles for the delivery and pickup of goods

– Load and unload packages from trucks

– Follow delivery routes and time schedules

– Conduct inspections of vehicles for safety issues and perform preventative maintenance

– Use delivery software in routing, dispatch, and tracking deliveries

– Follow traffic laws and safety procedures

– Communicate effectively with clients and team members

– Maintain clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

– Valid driver’s license

– Clean driving record

– Ability to lift heavy objects

– Familiarity with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB)

– Excellent organizational and time management skills

– Ability to work independently

– Strong problem-solving skills

– Good customer service skills

Education:

– High school diploma or equivalent

– Completion of a driver training program

Experience:

– Proven work experience as a box truck driver would be advantageous but not necessary as we provide paid training.
