Responsibilities

Create and Implement Learning Plans: Design and deliver personalized learning plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student... Facilitate Online Learning: Lead engaging online classes and one-on-one sessions using virtual learning platforms, ensuring a dynamic and supportive learning environment. Adapt Curriculum: Modify curriculum materials to accommodate individual student requirements, ensuring content is accessible and relevant. Assess and Interpret: Administer and interpret educational assessments in a digital setting to monitor and support student progress. Collaborate for Success: Work closely with families, teachers, and support staff to coordinate efforts and promote student achievement. Track Progress: Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and interventions to track development and make informed decisions. Participate in Meetings: Join virtual IEP meetings and parent-teacher conferences to discuss student progress and address any concerns.

Qualifications

Educational Background: Master's degree in Special Education. Certification: Current state teaching license with a special education endorsement. Experience: At least 3 years of experience in special education, with a preference for experience in an online teaching environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency with assistive technology and digital learning tools. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
