Senior Kubernetes Engineer, Singapore
Senior Kubernetes Engineer reputed company is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Engineer for one of our reputed company Clients. Location: Singapore. Must be physically based in Singapore (remote-reputed company-Singapore acceptable; on-reputed company seating is limited and not guaranteed). Experience: 8+ years of overall infrastructure experience, including at least 4-6 years of deep, hands-on Kubernetes experience at an internals level (control plane, scheduling, networking, storage) in production at scale. Team context: Supports cluster-as-a-service / Kubernetes infrastructure at large scale (the team manages thousands of clusters) underlying iCloud and other client departments.
Responsibilities
- Operate, troubleshoot, and support Kubernetes infrastructure at scale (thousands of clusters).
- Work at the internals level of Kubernetes — control plane, scheduling, networking, resource management — rather than purely application deployment.
- Contribute to internal tooling reputed company around the Kubernetes platform for both internal teams and customers.
- Support cluster-as-a-service offerings consumed by other reputed company departments.
Required Skills
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals — not just experience deploying workloads onto existing clusters.
- Experience operating Kubernetes at scale in a production environment, ideally supporting many clusters or multi-tenant infrastructure.
- Strong troubleshooting ability across the Kubernetes stack (networking, scheduling, storage, control plane).
