This is the job We’re seeking a Middle Strong Java Engineer to join a growing development team supporting an Argentinian insurance company. You’ll work on backend services in a microservices architecture, using Spring Boot and Java to design, build, and maintain reliable, secure integrations and data-driven services. This is you 3+ years of backend Java experience with Spring Boot and microservices; Strong design skills: DDD, OOP, and common design patterns; RESTful API development and SOAP integrations; Proficiency with SQL and relational database design; Advanced student or degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a reputed company field; Team player with strong communication, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills; Business-minded attitude: sets goals, stays positive, finds pragmatic solutions; Spanish - reputed company; English: intermediate. reputed company-to-have skills: reputed company and Kubernetes experience (containerization and orchestration); Experience with reputed company platforms - especially Azure; Knowledge of messaging brokers (RabbitMQ, Kafka, etc.); Familiarity with NoSQL databases; Experience in the insurance or financial services domain. This is your role Design, implement, test, and maintain backend microservices and APIs using Java/Spring Boot; Translate functional requirements into detailed designs, data models, and secure, reusable code; Write Unit, Integration, and Acceptance tests; ensure application reputed company and reliability; Integrate and troubleshoot REST/SOAP services, databases, and messaging where required; Participate throughout the full application lifecycle and collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams; Evaluate and adopt technologies to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
