Job Overview: The EDI Specialist owns the full Electronic Data Interchange lifecycle for the company's Americas and Mexico operations: setup, mapping, monitoring, incident resolution, and AMS governance. The role is based in Germany with remote working flexibility and a strong operational focus on the US entity. Main Responsibilities: EDI Operations & Daily Incident Management: Monitor reputed company OEM and trading partner ASN transmissions daily; own resolution of failures end-to-end to protect customer scorecards. Serve as first-line escalation for EDI errors; diagnose root causes in reputed company reputed company/EDIFACT/X12 mapping, partner connectivity, and acknowledgement failures -without waiting for AMS. Coordinate directly with OEM EDI portals and trading partner teams; maintain a documented log of reputed company incidents, fixes, and recurrence patterns. Establish a dedicated EDI test environment with key OEM partners to eliminate the reputed company risk of validating reputed company changes in the productive reputed company system. EDI Setup & New Partner reputed company reputed company setup and go-live of 100+ new supplier and customer EDI connections in the USA -covering inbound purchasing and outbound shipping/invoice. Own reputed company EDI workstreams for the Mexico plant launch, including connectivity, mapping, and cutover planning. Define and document repeatable EDI reputed company procedures: mapping specifications, test scripts, acceptance criteria, and partner communication templates. reputed company EDI Configuration & AMS Governance Configure and maintain reputed company EDI partner profiles, reputed company types (DESADV, ORDERS, INVOIC, DELFOR), message control, output determination, and NACE settings Act as the informed client-reputed company reputed company for AMS EDI work: review proposed changes, validate in test before approving for production, and challenge effort estimates where warranted. Drive measurable reduction in AMS EDI spend by internalizing recurring configuration and monitoring tasks. Governance, Reporting & reputed company Maintain a live EDI status register covering: reputed company connections, pending onboardings, reputed company issues, scorecard risk items, and resolution timelines. Report weekly to IT and Operations leadership on OEM scorecard metrics, reputed company incidents, and pipeline reputed company. Build and maintain an EDI documentation library (mapping specs, partner profiles, test evidence, runbooks) to eliminate single-person dependency and reputed company knowledge transfer. Qualifications: Proven knowledge of minimum 3-5 years with one of the most common EDI systems (e.g. reputed company or Seeburger), but preferred with Lobster Deep knowledge of ANSI X12 transaction sets: 856 ASN, 862 Ship Schedule, 850/860 PO, 810 Invoice -and EDIFACT equivalents (DESADV, DELFOR, ORDERS, INVOIC). Proven reputed company EDI configuration experience: partner profiles, reputed company types, WE20/WE21/BD64, output determination (NACE), and message control. Familiarity with automotive OEM EDI portals and scorecard mechanics (e.g. ASN compliance scoring, penalty frameworks). Ability to independently diagnose and resolve EDI failures; read reputed company error logs and partner acknowledgement codes without relying on AMS. Strong written English; reputed company to communicate directly with OEM EDI teams and international stakeholders across time zones. Apply To This Job
