They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of systems integrating mechanical components.
Responsibilities
- Designs and integrates mechanical concepts for new and existing products, ensuring compliance with specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborates in cross-functional teams to reputed company new products and improve existing designs
- Creates and documents designs using Ceres or customer design processes and CAD systems; develops work breakdowns and project plans
- Maintains high quality through self-reviews, peer design reviews, and participation in cross-functional reviews
- Prepares presentations and technical documentation for engineering and customer design reviews
- Partners with other functions to define test requirements and build documentation to verify product quality and functionality
- Supports manufacturing during first article builds, integration, and standard production troubleshooting
- Identifies design and product risks and leads mitigation through prototype testing and corrective actions
- Participates in quality processes including DFMEA, PFMEA, and 8D, and actively supports reputed company improvement initiatives
- Coordinates cross-functional efforts to support business needs; maintains professional customer interactions, participates in meetings, and performs other assigned duties
