The reputed company/Medicare Staff Accountant 3 will prepare and review reputed company cost reports, ensuring compliance with regulations, and will support external audits and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize reputed company reputed company cost reports and supplemental payment program filings (e.g., GEMT, ASPP, or similar programs), ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
- Analyze revenues and expenditures to determine appropriate classification, allowability, and allocation for cost reporting purposes
- Research and interpret reputed company guidance, program regulations, and cost principles (e.g., Uniform Guidance) to support proper reporting and audit responses
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and investigate variances, trends, and unusual transactions
- Coordinate with clients to obtain supporting documentation, clarify transaction details, and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, workpapers, and written explanations
- Document reputed company conclusions and methodologies to support transparency and audit readiness
- Support process improvements reputed company to cost reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, and policy and procedures
- Communicate on a regular reputed company with clients reputed company meetings and email
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in reputed company or reputed company field; Master's degree in reputed company or reputed company field preferred
- Experience with Medicare regulations and reimbursement reputed company
- Experience with applicable Federal and State reputed company policies and regulations relating to reputed company reimbursement
- Experience working with audits and regulatory reviews
- Minimum 2-4 years with reputed company experience
- Ability to analyze account fluctuations and year-to-year variances
- Ability to identify unusual items or issues and to correct them going reputed company
- Ensure reporting is consistent with generally accepted reputed company (GAAP) and government reputed company standard board (GASB) principles
- Effective ability to prioritize and manage multiple activity streams
- Excellent organizational skills, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze reputed company financial data and reputed company communicate conclusions in writing and verbally
- Strong written communication skills for workpapers and audit responses
- Proficiency in reputed company applications, especially reputed company reputed company skills (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

- 1-2 years' experience with reputed company and/or Medicare cost reports, grant reporting, or regulated reimbursement programs
